Booking Details / Terms & Conditions

What is included in the price rental: 
• All bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment
• Utility bills and supply of fuel for the fire
• Provision of 1 car parking permit for Staithes Bank Top car park for use when parking March - October inclusive
• Childs travelcot and highchair

£85 to £120 per night.
Monday to Monday, Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday Bookings.

Peak holiday times £125 per night.

When booking the cottage, a booking form will be sent to you for you to fill in and sign and then to be sent back to the owners no later than 4 weeks prior to your stay.

Although there is no parking at the cottage there are spaces to load/un-load a few metres away. We have got a provision of a car park space at the Staithes Bank Top car park March- October inc.

There is a damage deposit of £100 which will be returned when the cottage is vacated. Post dated cheques accepted. This is due when the balance is paid 4 weeks prior to your stay.

Mid week booking of a minimum of 2 night stay are available upon request subject to availability
(Winter only). Call or email for availability.

Although there is no parking space at the cottage there are spaces to load/unload a few metres away. Cars must then be parked in  one of the 2 car parks further up the village. Please note there is a minimum charge for this facility.
 

Terms & Conditions

Booking - The property will not be let until a completed and signed booking together with a deposit has been received  and a receipt and confirmation letter issued by the owner to the tenant. The balance of the letting must be received on or before 4 weeks before the letting date.

Period of Let - Will commence at 4pm the 1st day of let and end 12 noon of the last day of let.

Availability - If by error or circumstances outside the owner’s control, the property is not available on the agreed dates, any monies paid will be refunded in full and the tenants will have no further claims against the owner.

Conduct - Conduct of the tenants should be in keeping with the surroundings and should be as such to cause no disturbance to the neighbouring properties/inhabitants.

Equipment - The owners will take precautions to ensure that all the equipment is in sound working order. However, they do not accept responsibility for the loss of time or expense incurred through any defect or breakdown prior or during the letting period. Responsibility for repair rests with the owners unless made necessary by the negligence of the tenant. The owner must be notified of any occurrence leading to the necessity of repair. Items needing repair must not be placed with a third party without the owner written permission.

Insurance - The tenant and their associates and property are not insured against loss or damage and are not considered to be third parties for the purpose of insurance.

Pets - Well behaved dog are allowed with the owners consent but they must not be allowed in the bedrooms or left on the premises unattended.

Vacation of Property - The property should be left in a clean state and the owners reserve the right to make an extra charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a clean and reasonable condition.

Complaints - Any complaints must be reported to the owner as soon as possible. All complaints will be dealt with as soon as possible and the owner will endeavour to settle the complaint in full. The owner can not accept the complaint if the tenant vacates the property without prior knowledge.
